Rev. H. Melvin Symmank
| Pastor Symmank was born in Giddings, Texas, the youngest of three sons who entered the pastoral ministry. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Elementary School in Giddings, Concordia Academy and Jr. College in Austin, TX and graduated from Concordia Senior College in Ft. Wayne, IN. | Rowlett, TX.. While at Rowlett, he served as the
Circuit Counselor for the East Dallas Circuit of congregations. Since 1997
he has served as the vacancy Pastor at Grace, Dallas; Faith, Grand Prairie;
St. John, Athens; St. Paul, Plano; Redeemer, Nacogdoches and as part-time
visitation pastor at Cross of Christ, DeSoto; Our Redeemer, Irving, and
Hope, Dallas. Pastor Symmank and his wife, Barbara, have four grown children: two daughters who live in the Metro area, a son in Olathe, KS and a son in Christchurch, New Zealand.
