Sharing Blessings: A Blessing for Eternity

What is the Endowment Fund?

The Zion Endowment Fund (ZEF) ensures the future of Zion's ministry by providing financial support for Zion’s three primary areas of ministry:

  • Church Ministries
  • Christian Education
  • Music Ministries

By definition, the principal of the endowment will not be touched, but continue in perpetuity to provide income for non-budgeted ministry programs. The challenge and opportunity is to continue to build the principal so that it will yield a continuous, significant income.

The ZEF is administered by the Lutheran Foundation of Texas (LFOT), an Austin-based supportive ministry of the Texas District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
