Zion’s
youth ministry is a great place for students to develop and grow in their
relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as their relationships with one
another. Throughout the year we have opportunities for both middle school
(6-8th) and high school (9-12th) students to come
together in Christ. Check out some of the things that you can plug into
below!

DCE / Minister of Youth and Parish Education
Zion Lutheran Church-Dallas
|
|
Carolyn
was born in Napa, California, but her family moved to Aurora, Colorado
only a few years later, so Colorado has always been “home” to her. She
graduated from Denver Lutheran High School in 2004 and attended
Concordia University, Irvine. During her time at Concordia she was
involved in leading the Youth Ministry Teams and helped out with the
children’s and youth ministries at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Orange,
California. She graduated from Concordia University in May of 2008 with
a double major in Christian Education Leadership and Psychology. Carolyn
came to Zion Lutheran Church in July of 2008 as a Director of Christian
Education intern. She was incredibly blessed by her year as a DCE
intern, and has loved getting to know the students and families at Zion.
She is full of joy that God has called her to stay at Zion as the
Minister of Youth and Parish Education.
She loves reading, camping (especially in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains),
baseball, COFFEE, anything involving music, watching movies (especially
chick flicks), road trips and playing tennis. But more than anything she
loves her Savior and helping students grow closer to Him each day.
