Extended Care is a service offered by Zion Lutheran School that allows parents the option of care outside the school day. Our facility opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM with the school day beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at 3:30 PM. Our loving teachers provide nurturing care and fun activities before and after school hours in a Christ-centered environment. A nutritious snack, homework help, and playing with friends are daily activities that Zion's Extended Care Program offers. Zion is fully licensed by the State of Texas and is required to follow all minimum standards set by Texas.
Extended Care is available to students enrolled in Pre-School 2 through grade eight. For information about Extended Care costs, please contact the school office.
In addition to before and after school care, Zion also offers care on special days when school dismisses early or is closed. Through an advanced reservation process, care for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and other special days is available to Zion students at a small additional cost.
